ParticipantRe: snubbed by DAD & Portway
I tend to use Swift or Portway, I ask for their driver to phone my mobile about 1/2 hour before they arrive so I can get back to take the machines in, or they leave it in my garage which I unlock and I get back very soon after.
It works for me, I have not had a problem yetToni

ParticipantRe: Scrap machines, worth anything
It’s your business waste as long as the customer agrees for you to take it,
That’s according to the man at the agency when I spoke to him
It doesn’t matter if you charge them or notToni
ParticipantRe: Scrap machines, worth anything
New lower tier waste carrier/broker/dealer licence is free from the environment agency.
You only transport your own business waste, unless it is construction etc
and this lasts indefinitelyI have had mine since January when they where introduced.
I get about £6.00 to £8.00 per machine and the scrap dealer is around the corner.
I am just out side north London
Telephone: 03708 506506
or do it online and print it out straight away.
The scrap dealer couldn’t believe it, and he is now telling all his local plumbers, electricians etc,Toni
