The large copper item is the filter drier brazed to the pipework , simple job for a refrigeration Engineer, I would assume the gas leaking out is R600a and you will need an Engineer qualified to work with that gas, to replace the filter drier and recharge the unit.
Please do not run the unit until the repair has been completed, you could burn out the compressor.

Hi, Try unplugging from the mains and leaving off for 15 mins and then plug it back in again, its possible the inverter may be malfunctioning and this may reboot it and get you going until it can be replaced.

Having checked the parts list, although you did not post your index number, I suspect it will be a 164 version ( UK ) they produced 5 versions of your model in that index range from 2000 to 2001. The early versions have a Zanussi compressor fitted HQY 12AA and from 2001 an Aspera NBM 1116Y compressor, it may be worth locating the relay for which version of compressor you have from this site than paying the excessive price from Miele, purely for test purposes if it still does not work, all you have lost is the cost of the relay, as replacing the compressor is costly and should only be done by a qualified Engineer, ALWAYS REMOVE THE POWER when testing or replacing electrical parts.

If the compressor is not running once powered on and runs or hums for a few seconds and cuts out, then I suspect it is cutting out on the thermal overload ( klixon ) this device is triggered when the compressor or relay is faulty. Only fitting a new relay or an Engineer testing the compressor will determine which is at fault.

Remove back panel in cooler and disconnect fan, turn on and check frosting of coil, if not fully frosting, then gas leak or weak compressor, had plenty of the single door slim line units leak gas on the coil connection joints.

Hi Haris, My previous post recommended placing the white box behind the rear radiator grill, that way it is hidden from view.
It is purely a junction box to join the new section of sensor ( cut to length by you ) to connect to to the old cable running back to the pcb.

Instructions should be included with part, designed so it will replace all sensors in that resistance range without the need to remove the jack plug from the circuit board for fitting. Always remove mains from unit before attempting repair. ensure box is placed behind rear radiator for appearances.

If your unit cools and freezes intermittently and compressor is not running constantly then it is a control issue, NOT GAS, I would advise replacing the sensor first in the fridge.

The CT(sl) 3306 and CTP(esf) 3016, 3316 are TopFreezer with SmartFrost freezer compartment. Both evaporators are connected in series (see 4.2.4 Principle of operation of the refrigerating system). Therefore the refrigerator compartment can only be operated in conjunction with the freezer compartment. The refrigerator compartment is cooled by a foamed-in evaporator. There are two sensors for switching the compressor on and off. The freezer compartment is realized with a SmartFrost system, i.e. the evaporator tube is wound around the freezer compartment liner.

Beko has also come under fire for their poor reviews, especially in relation to aftercare. A Trustpilot survey found that 88{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of customers rated Beko as 1/5 (the lowest mark) for quality and service, with only 6{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} rating their products and services as ‘excellent.

There is an Engineers service menu on your unit, but we are not permitted to allow use or distribution to anyone other than an authorized service provider, but I would take a look at the fan, as it does not take much ice around the fan to jam it up.
It is located in the roof evaporator coil and the defrost you gave it may not have been long enough, it could be a malfunction of other parts of course.

Your service number does not show any matches and the model number is incomplete without GN or similar in front of 4113 and an index number follows that, all this is needed to locate your unit.

As Dave has said, the thermostat controls both sections by monitoring the fridge temperature, if the ambient temperature is lower than the cut in temperature of the fridge after the off cycle defrost then the fridge freezer will remain off until the cut in temperature is reached in the fridge, on some units this can be as high as 6c, more expensive units have a winter switch on them which when turned on adds warmth to the fridge interior by means of a heater or the interior light remaining on at half power, best option is move it to a warmer environment or purchase a separate freezer.

Not recommended, the refrigerant is R600a a highly flammable gas, and mass critical for amount in system, unless qualified it is not to be messed with.
