Any freezer thermostat will do the job, only question is related to the power connections and lights on the freezer, if there is a red warning light then a thermostat with a rise in temperature signal will be required, if no warning light a standard thermostat for a freezer will be required, this has not been made clear in the original posts description of the terminals on the failed thermostat or if it has a rise in temperature warning light. A Ranco VF3 is the standard (no signal ) and the Ranco VS5 is with signal on rise ( warning light )

Yes Gerard, Freezer temperature is dependant on fridge setting, there is no setting for freezer, but a temperature of -18c or lower is achieved regardless of where fridge is set.

Air sensor in fridge sited middle of cabinet on the left, along with the air sensor in the freezer turns compressor off, the fridge air sensor also switches the solenoid valve to position B ( freezer cooling only )
Fridge evaporator sensor ends the defrosting of the fridge, turns compressor back on and switches valve to position A ( fridge and freezer cooling )
Freezer air sensor turns compressor on or off
Freezer evaporator sensor ends the auto defrost and turns the fan on.
So dependant on any rise in temperature in the freezer, noted by the air sensor the compressor will be on, like wise the same for the fridge.
The fridge can be set for an average temperature, close to that setting, the freezer temperature is not adjustable.

Lec use the first two digits of the serial number as its production period, although it has been a long time since I was a service provider for them (1978) the 4 relates to the year and the C is the third quarter of that year, so yours will have been made in a year ending with a 4 between July, August and September.

Not a Beko expert, but having been a refrigeration Engineer for 48 years, If the compressor is hot and constantly running, then the sensors and PCB recognize the unit is not cold enough and causing compressor to run constantly, sounds like a loss of gas or a poorly pumping compressor.

Yes Kev all three sensors on your model are the same resistance so providing you have a genuine Liebherr 9590206 repair kit all will be good.

This is something that will happen in low room ambient temperatures, read your unit manual, it explains use of the cool plus switch in these conditions.

Hi Kev, you need to replace the rear wall sensor.

Right, then is the green block flashing in sequence with the super cool light and what number is the green block flashing at ?

Resistance between the common, start and run windings should not be of concern, generally if you have a circuit between pins it indicates the windings are intact. the fuse is blowing due to an earth short or compressor drawing to many amps on start up.
So we are back to my original suggestion.

Check there is no circuit from the compressor pins to earth, but as stated, remove power wires to each component one at a time and by a process of elimination you will find what part is faulty.

An electrical component is obviously failed or down to earth, there are not too many parts on these systems. compressor, fan, circulation motor and thermostat, I would disconnect individual parts from the supply and keep on till the fuse stops blowing.

Hi Kev, When it alarms, is just the red alarm light and beeps, or do you get the green block and super cool light flashing and beeps ?

The Engineer would probably carry a replacement on his van as stock, I do as they are standard parts for Engineers in the course of their repairs.
