You can not test these compressor PTC relays, if the overload ( klixon ) is cutting out, then it is possible the relay is faulty or it could be the compressor itself, without a specilized hermetic compressor tester to check compressor, your only option is to buy a new relay and see if that resolves your issue.
Your compressor is an Aspera EMZ26CLC and I believe the relay is available on UK Whitegoods part shop as SKU#2260209040 but please check with them beforehand.

Very unlikley to be the lid or seal preventing the system from freezing all the interior, more liklely the compressor is worn out.

Its nothing to do with gasses settling, its about the oil in the compressor, if tilted too far the oil can run into parts of the pipework where it does not belong and the gas once the unit is started can cause excess oil to be pumped around the pipework and can then cause a blockage, yours sounds ok from your description on how its cooling, always leave units to remain upright for at least 4 hours before plugging in if they are newly delivered.

Not a Bosch expert, but the short buzz maybe the solenoid valve energizing, if it has one fitted of course, most frost free fridge/freezer have them to control refrigerant gas flow to either section when cooling or freezing is required in that section with a single compressor.

My opinion is a breakdown in the foam insulation around the lead in refrigerant pipes, unless you want to dig out the foam and spray new in if it does not have a metal back behind the condenser coil rad, I would not bother live with it or replace cabinet other than a nuisance should not affect operation.

Always worth giving a frost free fridge/freezer a good long defrost for 3-4 days as suggested, this helps eliminate any excess ice issues.

    Hi,
Erratic problems are tricky enough even when we are there as an Engineer looking at it, if your issue is mainly the fan in the freezer at times not operating.
You have to confirm the unit has not just performed a defrost cycle and or that the unit has only just recently started to freeze down from its off cycle period.
The fan starts when the evaporator sensor has reached the correct temperature and the door is closed with the compressor running.
It is possible you can have issues with a weak compressor or a shortage of gas the later unlikely or an erratic sensor.
An Engineer would be required to confirm gas or weak compressor problems, but you could try changing the sensor which I believe is part number 4501970 from Miele.
    Tony.

Electrofix is almost correct, a heavy accumulation of ice on the freezer coil is likely to be your issue, if the freezer sensor notes it is not at the correct temperature the control circuit will shut off the refrigeration via the solenoid valve to the fridge until the freezer gets to temperature. If it cannot due to the ice build up then the fridge can get to room temperature.
Remove the drawers and inspect for any excess frosting on the freezer rear wall panel, place the frozen food in another freezer and unplug the unit for 2 days, after this remove the single fixing screw at the bottom centre of the panel and you should then be able to pull off this panel from the bottom up.
Clear any left over ice on the now visible coil with a hair dryer on medium heat, ensure the melt water flows down the drain hole, add boiling water via a cup to clear any ice in the drain if required.
When you refit the rear panel make sure the fan guard clips behind a small plastic ridge at the top, main reason for excess ice build up is drain blockage or most likely the freezer door was left slightly ajar, if slammed shut too firmly it can bounce open enough to allow air to enter but not open wide enough for the door open alarm to sound if fitted.

Danfoss BD35F compressor has been discontinued, the electronic unit MUST be used with the compressor and cannot be bypassed, however the unit is showing on Ebay to purchase ( 101NO220 ) the electronic unit ( inverter ) speeds up the compressor and also acts on the battery to stop it getting fully discharged.

Hi, you really need to remove the rear back panel to check for over icing, any excess will prevent air circulation and hence a high temperature display.

I would firstly check for any frost build up in the freezer, the issue does not sound like a sensor issue, and both sensor replacements for the freezer air and evaporator are identical, assuming the one bought already is the kit type replacement with crimps and a box. Also check the freezer fan operates, close the door and you should see it slowing down by opening the door and quickly looking at the blades in top centre of rear wall panel.

The 9590102 sensor is correct to replace either sensor in the fridge, however an F4 fault is the freezer evaporator sensor failure and on your unit ( KGNves 3846 ) on an Index 27A-147 you need sensor 9590214.

I still need your freezer service number to confirm you have the right part

That is the evaporator sensor and would of had a green colour bar printed on the old sensor wire.
