ParticipantRe: Liebherr Fridge drawer runner support
Once the runner is off, I assume it fell off once the small plastic node had broken.
The insert in the wall has to be removed with a set of mole grips.
Clamp the section tightly and lever out in a downward motion. the new is inserted and can tapped in with a rubber mallet. I would advise putting two self tapping screws to hold the runner once slotted back on, this will add strength, as the nodes only break if the main door gets shut against a protruding drawer.Tony R

Yes, if you give me your index number I can tell you the part number, suspect you need a 6113980, which is the latest out.

Every thing is powered off the integral board, so this is most likely the problem.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Fridge/Freezer Module PCB control units.
Some Hotpoint modules are supplied unprogramed, as I found out several years back, you have to buy a card reader, software card and hotkey, the card is about a £10 but the other components cost more than the module you need.

Hi Doug, if you had a sensor issue it will give you a F code in the display.

ParticipantRe: LIEBHERR Fridge / Freezer problems
Bob, I have been repairing Liebherr refrigeration for 16 years as their service agent, sorry but you are wrong. The unit operates in an emergency mode, alarms and displays the fault code until repaired, or the board is denied power for a short time, in which case the F fault can disappear for a time. It will not happen if there is too much ice in the freezer.

ParticipantRe: Do I have a faulty thermostat?
Dan, the thermostat is just an automatic on/off device, a resistance test is pointless.
The stat, if fitted in the fridge, will cut out after the fridge rear wall has reached a certain temperature, and cuts back in shortly after the frost on the rear wall has melted.
It does sound as if the stat is faulty, as it should cut in around 5-7 degrees.Tony R

Hi Simon,
From what you are saying, I believe the electronic board is malfunctioning.

Tony.

There is a manual defrost setting, but as Ken has already stated we need the correct model and index number, or service number, before we can assist further, you have one two many numbers after ICBN which we know is a built in combination with bio fresh.

9590206 is a kit, the old sensor is cut off and joined with the new kit, which now includes silicone filled connectors placed inside a waterproof box.
