The fridge door being open does not affect the freezer fan operation.
The door has magnets built into them which operate reed switches, freezer door open fan off, 90 seconds door open alarm, fridge door open again 90 seconds alarms, and operates fridge light only.

If its a freestanding fridge/freezer and not a design to be built it, that could be your issue.

    Re: Liebherr ICBN 3066 Issues…

I believe the unit is an index 20-001 if I add two zeros to complete the service number, which makes the unit 10 years old, with a production date of 29-1-2007 to 9-4-2007,
The freezer and fridge share the same compressor and cooling circuit, turning off the fridge may prolong the freezer for a few days, but it has had it I am afraid.

Do you have the service number or the index, found on rating plate inside unit.

The unit has developed a gas leak in the fridge pipework and is unrepairable.

Hi, came across this problem for a customer, it is the jazz board that is at fault.
You will need to order a new one and once fitted program it with the code number which is on your model number rating plate in the fridge.
Make sure you get the programming instructions when you order your new board.
The board is located in the housing in the fridge light section.

The 206 version allows the connection to be inside the unit, if it is not obtrusive, whereas the 142 connection MUST be on the outside.

    Re: Liebherr fridge thermostat replacement

You need thermostat part number 6151032, the sensing phial runs through the roof section with the power cables, it should then be routed behind the condenser ( black grill at rear ) inserted through the back wall into the fridge interior, as already stated turn the plastic screws on the front of the cooling plate inside the fridge and ease it away from the left.
This will allow you to see the pocket at the bottom rear of the cooling plate where the phial is supposed to go, it is carefully wound around a plastic insert that fits into the pocket holding the phial in place and in contact with cooling plate.

If you are going to fit the 9590142 you will have to remove your unit from the carcase.
I would advise you to call Liebherr and get a qualified engineer to do it.

Eddie, do you have a euro plug adapter on the mains plug ?
You are definitely losing power to the unit, hence nA in the display.
It could be a faulty connection in the adapter, there are a couple of slots the pins sit in, they may not be making a good connection. Would suggest fitting a British plug and retest.

    Tony.

    Hi Tim,
Are there any of the green display blocks flashing in sequence with the supercool button light when it alarms.

Hi, Last time I changed a door control board, there were two screws hidden behind the shelf the drip tray sat on beneth the dispensers. You need to pull out the shelf, undo the screws and the control panel is pushed down and out.
