Thanks chaps
I was just a bit mythed when I peered through top plate and saw no usual set up with fan etc, and then look at on TDS and find no fanblower etc just a heater dangling in mid air! No different to standard fault finding on normal washer dryers then  I was just a bit loathed to pull it as it looks a cow of a job. You know how it is rented property landord not quite sure of fault description etc.
Thanks for info

Hi Paul
Is the condenser free from dog hairs/dust etc, these were prone to getting clogged up and resticting cooling, giving warm fridge tempratures.
As your DVD states the early condenser cooling fan had problems with fan/motor (started to run a bit sluggish and impede cooling of condenser). Cant remember if fan runs straight away or when evaporater temp drops a bit, been a while since ive seen one.

Hi Tubby
Yes I am afraid it is. In my experience of stripping them down and oiling them, they dont tend to last very long (heat soon drys out oil). so I tend to fit new one now and forget the messing about.
Spares on this site should be able to source you one.
Unplug/disconnect before going in :zap:

Hi
Did you notice how many times end led flashed? this led is used for first digit of error code. second alarm code is denoted by start/pause led.
Quick accsess to error code is press and hold in start/pasuse button and any option button together for 2 secs while machine is running. The alarm is shown buy these leds as long as the buttons are held down.
Have error codes if required.steve
