    Hi Brian

Had this before on two machines, ended up changing motor on both of them. Put it down to the centrafugal assy at the end of the motor shaft sticking?.

Same symptons as yours, washes etc but just decides to stop and not spin every now and then. Like you changed everything else that I thought it would be but no joy 😥 . even the gearbox, changed motor and it cured it. Motors have a built in toc so whether this was failing prematurely is also a possibility.

    Hi there

If you press in and hold quick freeze and vacation button together for 8 secs it will go into self diognostics.

Should display an error code using part of the segments of the led display. I will try and PM you the test routine if I can manage to get it to a PDF file. Switching the appliance off and then on it will also do a self diognostic and show error code (if any) on the display.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Guys

Not logged on for a while 😳

I took my Nvq level 2 in electrical and electronic servicing of white goods about four years ago. its invaluable.

I still have all my documents saved to file if anyone is interested. I can supply College details of anyone in the South east if they need them.

Change the interface board Chris, it worked for me,

Had similar hair pulling experiance with trying to configure new p.c.b.

Turned out it had damaged the interface p.c.b when original fault happend.
You may think that its ok as all the buttons seem to function fine. I changed it as a last resort and hey presto, sorted.
