    Hi Paul

Check PCB for dry joints on heater supply may look o.k but worth running your iron over just to be sure

    Re: hotpoint mistral

    Hi,

Baffle is controlled by the module, which in turn receives info from thermistors.
This keeps the baffle open all the time the fridge temp is above the set temp. If the baffle is open and the fridge is still warm check that the vents/ducting to the fridge compartment are not ice up, hence reducing/blocking airflow. did you change the evaporator thermistor?.

On early models this was green in colour and gave lots of problems even though no error code was shown when you switched the appliance on and it did a self check routine. evap fan should kick in when evapoator temp reaches -15.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Walnut,

I may be a bit late, dont get time to log as much as I would like these days.
There are two wiring diagrams for this cooker. Have both if still required. Will have to fax them though as they are paper copies.

Must be quite common as have come across this before.

    Thanks Seamy,

Yes its a top loader, not come across this one before.

Machine just sits there doing bugger all, is in a confined space so wanted some direction before I just start pulling bits off it.

    Thanks

    Re: Bosch SPS6462GB/06 pulsing?

Had similar fault on servis dishwasher last week. Although the dishwasher was filling the circ motor just pulsed on off, 😕 turned out to be pressure stat contacts welded together, strange because the unit washed ok for about half an hour, then decided to flood.

Not sure if your dishwasher has pressure stat though, its not a model number I recognise.

    Hi Dave,

Yer my thoughts exactly, all four diodes meter out o.k. 😮 Unless they are breaking down under load, usually though you can determine the duffens with your meter
