I haven’t because it sounds as though it’s clear and the machine drains quickly.
I was going to remove the hose from the waste and see how quickly it flows but disregarded this idea when the fault showed “Water protection system is activated”.
I think I’ll check the flow rate from the machine and check for fat.Thanks.

My first thought was a drain issue. On the first visit, I found some bits in the impeller area, including dental floss tape, so I thought I’d cracked it. Unfortunately, I had a call back.
I have removed the pump and checked behind the impeller in case something was caught around the shaft, but as far as I can see, it’s clear and the shaft doesn’t feel as if it’s binding.
I found the above information for the error code for this machine in the instructions, so I assumed it might be water in the base, but that’s clear.
According to the instruction manual, E32-00 is a fill fault, and E61-02 is a drain fault.
Also, the machine doesn’t return the error after it’s reset, which I would expect if the fault was related to the float switch.
Is there anything else on this machine other than the float switch that could cause the ‘Water protection system’ to activate? This machine doesn’t have an aquastop valve.Thanks Dave,
The switch is normally closed. It tested OK back from the board and I tightened the connections.
I’ll check the element next.

I don’t seem to be able to start the oven now. As above, I set the time, then the function and press OK. I then adjust the temperature but if I press the start button the display shows 0:00. Did the oven you looked at do this during the probe test?Is the outlet hose above the water level? If it’s flat on the floor the water might be running out as it fills giving the appearance that it’s not filling.

DaveI put a wet dishcloth in the machine when testing. Maybe it wasn’t enough.

He said he doesn’t stop it early.
When testing, the machine doesn’t like to be cancelled or paused during the dry cycle.

Looking at the wiring diagram my diagnosis so far looks correct. This is a pretty basic machine. I am getting a live at the element, which eliminates the pressure switch and safety pressure switch.
The only that I can see that this can be is either the PCB or NTC. I have changed the PCB so it’s got to be either the new PCB is faulty or the NTC.
Does your information give a resistance value for the NTC?Just an update in case anyone else comes across this.
The clicking noise was caused by the baffle in the back of the fridge.

I took legal advice on this and was advised my contract is with the agent as they give instructions. I can’t rely on the contract between the Landlord and Agent as this would be classified as transference of contract which doesn’t hold up in law.

Most of the agents I work for won’t use anyone else. The property management team that usually gives me the instructions doesn’t want to go elsewhere but unfortunately, the company who have taken them over are a very large group and unlikely to accept a contractor that won’t comply with their agreement. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Turnover is less than £85000 so I’m not VAT-registered.
The latest contract I’ve been asked to sign is for an estate agent that’s been bought out. I’ve worked for them for 20 years and the management team doesn’t want to lose me as a contractor, but unfortunately, the company that has taken them over are insisting on the contract.
I explained I could only agree to the the term “payment if and when there are cleared funds” when Waitrose agree to the same terms for me!
The girls in the office that I normally deal with, have said that they would make sure I get paid, but I assume this would be by increasing charges on other properties (which I don’t agree with).
