ParticipantThe detergent dispenser tested OK so it looks like the main PCB.
QER said they wouldn’t be able to repair it, so, as the module and solenoid is not far off £220 and the machine’s 8 years old the customer has decided to repace.
Thanks for the advice.January 24, 2024 at 6:01 pm in reply to: Bosch Dishwasher still has E19 after changing heat exchanger valve #489336Twoten
Participantkaibart wrote:Error e19 is usually the valve you have changed or the dispenser and lastly the power module
Thanks kaibart, I’ll go and check the dispenser.

ParticipantInteresting, I went to a Hotpoint DXD7912CIX and the fan on this cut out as soon as the oven reached temperature then came back on when the temperature dropped. I wondered if it was a fault but appears it might not be.

ParticipantI’ve been back to look at this.
This oven has a standard thermostat and selector switch. The oven has a simple digital timer plus a power PCB.
I bypassed the timer and told the owner to monitor what happens over the next few months.September 21, 2023 at 6:57 am in reply to: Belling BI602FP BLK (444444774) oven wiring diagram #488080Twoten

may not even be the oven as could be power supply to oven
has it got a clock, if yes you could temp bridge clock to eliminate
Dave
It has a clock, but this is linked to another PCB. I’m not sure but I think I looked at bypassing the clock on my previous visit but it was connected to another PCB so I don’t think it was possible. I’ll go back and take another look. I suspect it’s the clock at fault but there are no visible signs of component failure or dry solder joints.

sorry for delay just thought on
Dave
Thanks Dave,
Unfortunately, this looks different to the one on the machine. The facia panel is different and the retaining clips on the PCB holder are in different positions so I don’t think it will fit.
Thanks for looking for it though.
It’s appreciated.July 6, 2023 at 9:09 pm in reply to: Hoover Washer/Dryer H3D4965DCE/1-80 Control PCB holder part Number #487486Twoten

I rarely use non-gen parts unless OEM or the part is no longer available in genuine.Twoten

Connect will come back with one of their own part no;s but you have to go digging to find the correct number
try to use them as little as poss
Dave
I find they quite often respond with the manufacturers part number but prefixed with the first 3 letters of the manufacturer (that’s if they identify the correct part in the first place).
Why do you use them as little as possible?

Participantelectrofix wrote:are you sure there are variations as this one heater fits lots of midea units
Aswo it at £21.71 but list 7 different alternatives linked to other makes
search midea heater
Dave
If I search for “dishwasher Pump Body With Heater” on Connect, there are quite a few similar listed, I’m not sure if they are identical. They look like they might be. An enquiry with ASWO couldn’t identify the part. I have created a PNE with Connect to see what they come up with but it will be Monday at the earliest before they respond.

Beko one is 32mm

Thanks Dave,
It’s not the flow-through type. It’s similar to this:

Participantkaibart wrote:As this is a built-in unit 1st thing I would be checking before you go changing parts is the installation especially as its been there so long must have moved and need refitting
kaiI checked the position and it appears to be well-secured and the top and bottom fixing plates are aligned with the front of the unit.

I would check each hinge for damage and try taking them off , maybe one at a time, to see if one of them is jamming

Thanks Dave,
Do you know if these are self-closing (sprung) or if this relies on the seal magnet?Twoten

Thanks Kaibart,
If the customer calls BSH and explains it’s just out of guarantee, they will honour it or will they have to book the call first? -
