ParticipantRe: AEG dishwasher 35085VI intermittent stopping mid-cycle
Hi Suedehead,
Looking back in my 2014 diary I didn’t appear to get anywhere with this, although I seem to recall the customer continued to use it for some time after my visit. I wonder whether it might be a faulty door switch, door not shutting completely etc.

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool S20BRSB21 side by side, air diffuser
For anyone who’s interested. The air diffuser has a small integral capacitor with a pretty low capacitance. An ohmeter set in the megohm range across the appropriate contacts (there are three) will only register a resistance value very briefly. If ohmeter leads are then reversed, again there is a very brief reading of resistance. This is with the diffuser in its closed position. When in open position one contact shorts to an other, so in the open position expect to see a low resistance across two adjacent contacts.

Thanks Dave, Yep, looks like a resistor (presumably motor windings), and a switch. I guess the !”nc is the serial number? I have two possibilities:

Hi ElectronicMan,
Interesting info. I’ve also been frustrated by the wealth of contradictory info on these. Did you use the terminal that plugs into KN3 in conjunction with your new temp sensor? The only sensors I’ve come across for this have bare wires.

ParticipantRe: samsung RSH7UNBP ice not produced
Hi,
Don’t know how to cycle the ice maker but would be interested. I fitted a replacement input pcb and have heard nothing since. Either the customer has decided to make ice manually or it actually worked.
