the old zanussi washcraft series were very reliable Z915t-z959t. Anybody remember their first dishwasher the em614, this had a door lock that you had to turn a lever to start.

    Re: plastic washing machine tanks

i used to break into the plastic 1605490 tanks and remove the inner drum to reuse, the drum supports were always easier to unscrew. They are the same inner drum as used on the WMA machines even though they were classed as 6kg they are the same as the 7kg

    Re: BUSH WM-1260B AUTOMATIC WASHER

a bush machine i repaired only had a blockage and the tank assy was the same as the amica awp510p, statesman mxw10252 and the currys essential machines. personally i think they are quite good value machines and easy to repair. the only negative thing was that the door seals seem too thin and can easily split.

    Re: qualtex solid plate hotplates

i have spoke to qualtex on numerous occasions regarding the CS23 and CS24 hotplates, every time they said nobody else had reported the problems i was having with them. I sent back at least 6 faulty hotplates and they credited me. Since then i have only ordered the hotopint equivalents and have had no problems, they are just slightly more expensive. I will never order the low quality qualtex ones again.

Re: remove door seal on indesit w103

front panel cannot be removed. easy job, remove front seal clamp then the inner spring clip can be removed by pushing seal down at bottom then pull off seal and the clamp together. fitting is reverse of this but put the seal in a sink of hot water to soften up then use washing up liquid on lip of seal before fitting

    Re: Oven door catch

there is a cover at the bottom of door frame pillar, usually held on by a screw, remove this and will drop out, alternativly remove the top cover and use a telescopic magnet tool to retrieve it.

you have to fill it with a few litres of water after cleaning out the pump-if tipped back. it wont drain if it detects there is no water inside with the new pressure switches.
