Re: OKO -LAVAMAT 72640 continially goes on to pause

I have similar fault on my AEG 76669 very occasionaly, wm is found paused anywhere in cycle, presing start continues the cycle, collegues in the same trade advise me is the control board however I would advise you to try Repairs@ on left, as would require technical expertise to configure board.

    hope this helps

Point taken with the Blowlamp, Obviously common sense would apply where a system would be low on gas and care would need to be taken but if there was a big leak most of the gas would have been dispersed into the atmosphere and not forgeting that the correct mixture of gas and air would be needed to cause an explosion.

The suggestion to use a lighter as I have used has never caused me any problems but before I test an area with heat I would test with a soapy solution to check for any bubbles and this has never failed me.

I would not have thought this would have been an issue with the small ammount of gas that the system would have contained, 100grms etc
other alternative is to put a cannary in the fridge or freezer compartment :rotfl:

    Re: Refrigeration Tips?

This one may work to find out is there is lack of gas , place lighter on pipework as it comes out of the compressor in theory I will absorbe the heat if its still hot it suggests there is lack of gas.

Obviously partial freezing or an iceballing on a wetwall/skin evapourator is another indicator.

    Chris.

You would have thought they would have taken some notice of the similar fault on the hoover soft & new wave range of machines.

will a restrictor in the inlet valve help ? , just an idea got 2 b cheaper than replacing dispenser

Why is it always d/washers that give me grief 👿 ?

Lack of rinse aid dispensed can sometime cause this problem, just a thought it may be the cause ???
