    Re: Who should pay?

my policy with sharks or as they call themselves “insurers” is to give the customer a receipt when “the customer” pays me. Its up to the policy holder to claim. my dogs insured and when he visits the vet I pay the vet who signs the treatment form and I wait for the cheque even if thats several hundred pounds. when my greenhouse was blown down my insurers agreed to pay I sent my receipt fron B&Q. would B&Q give me a greenhouse and wait for payment? we seem to be treated like prats blocked pumps ,air chambers ,faulty plumbing ,bounce it back to mr fix it “we’re not the AA you know”
dont get taken for a ride its the retailer that gets the commision we get the S***

side off for vented dryers turn the drum to allow the belt tool to rise into drum paddle piece of cake! as for ctd00 I’ve now tried out my homemade tool and Bobs junior hacksaw frame both work fine

    Re: wma9 bearings

easy way to remove spider is to use an angle grinder and cut through the spider and fixing bolts CAREFULLY as close as possible to the drum then you should be left with only a couple of turns of thread to turn to release the bolts.

Re: Getting the belt on the tension pulley – Hpt condenser d

I had this problem yesterday the jockey pulley had broken up and had to be replaced and as the mounting bracket has a locating hook on it I couldnt see how you could swing it up to ease the tension to rerfit the belt. In the end it was a case of struggling. When I got back I made up a metal tool 8mm round bar with a right angle 50mm from the end on a 200mm shaft with a firmly fixed handle. Is this what a 5600266 looks like? Next time I come up against this problem I’ll let you know how my homespun device works.
