sounds good but filling without spills and sealing to stop leaks or evaporation is another problem. Plus could you trust some users to remove and safely replace the lid would the manufacturers want to take that risk ?

Martin is right. I raised a family on this work but today I’m just about hanging in until retirement. If you try going alone make sure you do your research a tip might be to get hold of an old copy of yellow pages if you can and check the amount of adverts then as opposed to now online.

take a thick piece of card or carpet about a foot square. along one edge cut out a slot about 3 inch wide by 7 inch deep slide this in the front of the drum at the 6 o,clock position. slowly revolve the drum and card together until the card is at 12 o,clock.the screw or whatever usually drops into your hand.

I had the same thing took the oven out of the housing to find it connected to a burnt out 13a plug. this fitted by kitchen fitters. I advised to get an electrician to fit 30a supply and said double ovens draw more than the stated 13 amp when used both cavities at once hence the burn out although not on long enough to take the fuse out..
customer contacted the kitchen fitting firm they told her they always carried out work this way it was perfectly ok and my information was out of date.electrical science dont change do the sums to calculate the load and wire accordingly.

I’m one of the “hanging on until retirement” after 40 years what else could I do? The younger generation are more computer literate, fitter and adaptable, to pretend I could train to do something else and compete with a twenty something is stupid.
It will be the same or at least similar for the youngsters now in 40 years, it was for my Grandad 50 years ago he was a cobbler.

senior moment brought on by customer trying to help.I looked on the door for the enr only to find a sticker saying model no xxxx I said funny there should be more numbers well said the customer thats a second hand door so its doesnt match with what was there to start with……. but her’s the model number written on this piece of paper sorry I havnt got the serial number of course its the enr number!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to lie down in the dark sometimes thank goodness its Friday
