    Re: homark oven hinge block

    Hi Guys

Not looking too good i’m afraid the 600160 went obsolete over 10 years ago, so i’d say getting spares are damn near impossible.

It was made by the old old Ocean SPA before it was taken over by Elektra and again by Group Brandt.

It’s that old i’m afraid i can’t even find the correct number.

If you post a photo on this site somebody may have some lying dusty on shelf “just in case”

Sorry i can’t help on this one

    Re: Homark ceramic hob

    02-8280 is the model number

All the switches are the same no regulators just commutators.

    Part number is 050039.

Hob was manufacturered by Elba De Longhi and went obsolete
    in May 1998.

Caremark should have the part but so should many other parts
    retailers

    Re: NEB Oven – Broken

    Hi Ian

To use the grill you have to turn the selector to grill function.

Turn the oven thermostat to max position then use the grill regulator to select the temp you require, silly i know but it’s a safety thing.

As for the Timer it could well be faulty.

Expert Appliance Care Ltd are the official repairers for NEB ovens under warranty. But as you moved into the house with the oven in the guarantee if under 1 year old does not stand unless the previous occupiers left you the reciept.

    Experts Number is 0870 90 99 100.

Or just put a Post code up or look in the directories and i’m sure an independant repairer will be able to sort a part out.

Bit of info on the oven:- Sold by B&Q, Manufacturered in Italy by a company call NARDI Electrodomestici SPA.

Copper sulphate is blue yes, but any copper corrosion is green,

you’ll probably notice this on the back of fridges.

I think it could be the Finish but wouldn’t there have been a mass epedemic.

If you don’t need it Ken send it especially if it gets the job sorted
(just don’t claim for it ok 😉 )

As for the dish washer it is an LSI SH

not Bernstein but NARDI (merloni actually) 😯 👿

Dave when you send the job in tell Judith were you got the part from so she can adjust Ken’s stock (so he doesn’t get charged).

    Ps

Ken Please send that fax i sent you back with all your details then you’ll get paid

Re: electric repairs to gas appliances ?

According to CORGI’s technical bulletin Number 64 Dated 10 May 1996 (yes it’s still in force) I contacted CORGI to comfirm what i was reading was correct.

They claryfied better still and even said it was okay for a none registered person to disconnect a bayonet fitting 😯 , as this is designed so Mr Joe Public can dissconect the appliance to redecorate, clean under, without having to call a plumber.

But Ken is right just look at a gas appliance and the customer finds a leak get ready and be prepared to give your life savings to some judge in the courts.

    Re: Whirlpool 6th Sense ADP8940

    Thanks DP

There’s definately no water in the base i’ve already checked the float switch and all seems ok.

Also there is no error codes it justs looks as though the DW is going to start but all it does is start the drain pump lasts about 5 minutes the stops and just sits there like a lemon. If you stop the programme it just goes back to draining.

Technical at whirlpool are supposed to be getting back to me as they don’t recognise it either.

    Cheers
