If heater is ok try connecting a small piece of copper wire to the defrost heater and place other end in drain hole. Not exactly proffesional but it works

You NEVER do this on a spring wire heater…..your liable to cause a short and could make the cabinet live. These heaters only have a insulation that is thinner than normal cable.

Extending the heater from a bar heater is different.

condensor fan motorconnect pne enquiry out and ind servs no info!

Is this the part number for the condensor fan motor you need or the wiring connector ?

If its the motor then the part number is WR60X10209

the wire normally comes with the motor.

Its getting increasingly difficult since GE went belly up , ive just ordered a GE evap fan motor through Ebay

You should also change the main PCB as well at the same time else you’ll be back.

Well it has hit us too
We have worked for D&G for the over 12 years.
    Our 1st call competion rate for them was over 65{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}
our customers ratings were 97.8{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} good to excellent
The actual letter i received stated: –
“We are in the process of restructuring our Repair Network and because of this and that you are advised that taking our manangement and compliance requirements into consideration we are giving you 30days notice…..

D&G dont exactly pay great money but it is good bread and butter work and after 12 years, and normally in the top 10 in their ranking i was a little upset to be told (quoted) due to this and that!!!!

I emailed D&G and wrote to them asking for clarification of what “This and That” ment but no one there has had the decency to email me back..

Funny really, they are on your back constantly regarding their jobs, often 3-4 different people chasing you on the same job, even when you have told the 1st person the job is complete.
however when you chase them for an answer no one bothers to get back to you

    Hi

check the wire at the bottom of the freezer door which has a connection which sometimes corrodes, otherwise its the main board.
