I think AEG already gave up this product.

Heat pump clothes dryer should be a very good product.

I don’t know what is the problem about their product and why it costs so much.

Hi DP,this is model AKZ451/IX 2.3KW I checked out main board mounted on top of oven casing, could not see any blown components or breaks in circuits.Did the same with the controls board [gemini].Probably needs to be checked on test unit which I dont have.Any chance you could get me part numbers and price on replacements.

    Regards D.B.

    Hi

Slightly unrelated question but I have just acquired the same dishwasher from IKEA.

Although it has a red water fill hose I understand that it is cold water fill. Am I right in this assumption?

    Thanks

    David

    Re: Hotpoint TDC60 (changed thermostats)

Yes the drying light was still on when i changed the stats and turned the dial before i pressed start
Also in answer to the other Question that martin posted, of the issue of the light being on ofcourse id observed the that was one of the first things that triggered there was some problem and on my first thread on here made that known.

Re: diplomat adp8252 (smeg made) error E5

no – the program starts straight away and the unit starts its various fills of water for what i presume to be the rinse stage of the cycle, after about 5 minutes of circulation it just beeps and stops and of course all the water is left in it???

change to p0 program and water then empties, can the pressure system be reset to check if this is the problem?

You can’t buy the complete door I’m afraid, it’s all individual parts as Martin mentioned.

Probably the hinge and the two plastic hinge blocks inside the door, best to check exactly though please.

    Dave.

It’s just the hinge blocks – if they are the same as pivots. The actual hinge is OK. I just thought it might be easier just to change the door as the hinge posts are quite fiddly.
    Many thanks for your help.

    Martin,

Thanks for the advice, you were spot on.

Took off the hose and although there were a few worn places where the hose had rubbed against the tub – nothing to suspect a cut or tear.
Placed the tube in a basin of water, held one end and blew. And right enough bubbles appeared.
Just a tiny pin hole, but enough to have me tearing my hair out.

Once again your advice is much appreciated.

    Cheers

    G.

Martin wrote:The good news is all the door parts are available (all sold individually) so what part of the door is broken and is the door hinge OK?

    Martin

I think it’s the hinge pivots that are broken. The actual hinge is OK but the metal rod has broken both of the pivots.
