KeymasterRe: bought a new bosch 43C12 dishwasher not drying properly
the normal non eco cycle, everything is dry except the back of the tank, so i suppose all is well with it 🙂
as regards no having seen a fan, nearly all zanussis have it, they call it turbo drying system http://www.zanussi-electrolux.co.uk/nod … odID=13403
basic models have residual drying, the better ones have a fan as well as the residual drying.
obviously bosch dont have this technology yet 🙂

Don’t forget the logo, all though Walter Pollock would like to!
what else have we done…let me think…..errr
chatted in public about dasa, predicted the report they paid £3000 for, exposed some Dasa members as liars, exposed their inability to tell the truth(all who except the minutes of the last council meeting at the forth coming meeting), exposed the limatations of the PRESS officer. Fucking hell, we done more than they have :):)

Dasda agm, will be October ish, we will be associate members from July 1st, Jason says membership runs from then.
Whats the point of modern communications if you can’t change/debate/decide anything without going to the enormous expense of evryone having time off to attend a meeting?
Sean, Dasa needs shaking and turning upside down. It needs a leader to lead and it has to be his JOB, he has to have passion and determination to suceed, he has to get rid of present failures and re install a committed team around him.
But most of all, Dasa needs to present itself to the trade it pretends to represent, in a form that inspires people/individuals/business’s to want to be a part of the whole, until it pulls the chain and flushes away the shite, it will be a downward spiral.Kevin

Can you help – Timer dail has gone – I am using pliers to turn washing machine cycle timer round. The old one is just swivelling round – I have since found it has broke off the pivotal arm – there is just a piece of metal that i grasp with the plier.

KeymasterRe: bought a new bosch 43C12 dishwasher not drying properly
from what bosch man is saying, there is no drying cycle on these machines, it merely uses the residual heat of the dishes to dry them, so the only way to get em drier would be to increase the rinse water temperature, not actually lenghten the drying time which one can do anyway ie not to open machine for extra 20 minutes after it has finished.
i have looked and 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of bosch dishwashers dont have fans wheres alot of the zanussi ones have to give 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} drying.
it doesnt really bother me now i know its normal. i will try the non eco wash tonight , this from the manual means a 5 degree higher temperature of the rinse water. 🙂

KeymasterRe: TEBA built-in hob gas control knobs
Thanks for that Penguin.. :rotfl:
As for the control knobs what is the actual problem ?.
Is it that they do not stay on or are loose or dont turn the gas on or off ?
The knobs themselves are reliable but there is a spring clip that does come out and cause this fault.
Send me a E-mail to r600a@hotmail.com and i’ll send you some out.

KeymasterHello. We currently have a Bosch built in dishwasher but it’s bust after five years; where did you find stockists for the two built-in versions you mention and would you mind telling me how much as we shall need to replace it! Many thanks.

Thanks again Penguin, now working ok despite only finding a very small amount of crud in the pipes.
One question I have, what is all the brown stuff that looks like silica gel in the the tank on the side ?

KeymasterRe: First Post In An Undiscovered Country
Sean, nice post.
May I point out that Corgi has a pro rata joining fee, so do many organisations. Why not Dasa? Why some might think our action “petty” speaks volumes about themselves.
Dasa now has better communications using its own site, there is to my knowledge a council forum. Has Jason posted that I requested a Pro rata rate for UKW seeing as there was only four months of the year left?
Did Jason take advice from his fellow council members, also solving the question for anyone else who joins after the yearly commencment date? Or did he do nothing at all? Therefore the opportunity to clear up a problem has passed and the status quo maintained within Dasa, no-one does anything, apart from suggest we might be “petty”, surley decisions can be made using the forums of your site, instead of waiting for a scheduled meeting.
Jason has said membership is for a year, why can’t we take the action we have. Its Dasa who fail to grasp reality not UKW.
As for name calling, I can’t recall having called Dasa names, it does stand out though that members of the council are not what they seem, when the chips are down. I honestly think that UKW does not need Dasa, however the trade does need a trade association and Dasa is sadly lacking in this department, I also lay the blame for that on its leaders, the officers, for lack of vision and trust. There’s more to that also, where is the future when Walter, Scott and Patterson are in the frame, fraid the association is too nice to arseoles and gives them too much say.
