Re: Something Horrible Lurking Between Door Seal and Drum

Thanks for the quick replies 🙂

It is like a black mould, and usually we are doing 40 – 50 degree washes and using the quick wash option.

I’ll try a regular boil wash and see if that does the trick.

    Thanks again for your help.

This maybe a range cooker made by a company called sarena or pab or possibly leisure or possibly ari siltal.

have you got a picture for it or some more description i.e age, has it a warming drawer ect.

have you also got a build number on the rating plate,( all numbers would be helpfull )

Re: Something Horrible Lurking Between Door Seal and Drum

If this a substance like scum the the best way to keep your machine clean is to do a boil wash once a week either with towels or tea towels or just empty without adding soap powder or conditioner.

If the mark is like black mould then it is actually mould caused by the cold and damp and low temp washes.

if you carry out the boil wash as above then this will nrmally keep your machine clean and bacteria free.

    hope this helps

    Re: Bernstein Group Refrigerator

to the person who posted the original query on this one – did you get the hinges sorted out and if so, where did you manage to get hold of them? What price were they? We have exactly the same fridge, model and problem, and living in the Isle of Man we are finding it very difficult to obtain replacement hinges. B&Q do not want to know about it and nowhere on the Isle of Man appears to stock anything similar or that could be used as a replacement. Would be grateful of an e mail to our home email address jlkelly@advsys.co.uk as to how you sorted your own problem. Many thanks.

Re: Whirlpool SIOS Disc Installayion Probs

whirlpool gave me a sheet of instructions to carry out to solve the problem as they know it can occur…this is suppose to completely remove SIOS to allow its re installation.
Just like Whirlpool, it was useless and did not work, Even had an expert try it, no luck. Gave up on Whirlpool, totally naff.

Re: Whirlpool SIOS Disc Installayion Probs

    Hi,

SIOS is a t**t to add to an existing application. If it fails to load clean…forget it. I tried everything including tech help from whirlpool and nothing would work. Afraid it was the end of SIOS on that computer.
Over 30 months it happened twice to my 10 computers, never could recover the situation, neither could whirlpool.
