the 2 most common causes of this is that the dispensor hose could be clogged with excess soap powder or that there has been a build up of scale within the dispensor itself, try using a very stiff brush and hopefully that may cure your fault.

KeymasterRe: Ariston LI62 – door not closing
Not to sure the tension is too high for the latch to keep the door closed, mainly due to the fact that the door has closed ‘easily/smoothly’ once we had left it for a while turned off/on. It just seems to fix itself when left for a while, though last night/today it does not seem to want to play.

Keymasterkwatt wrote:This happens on a few machines if the local water pressure is too high and all you can do is reduce that using the tap until the problem goes away. 😕
K.
OK – but is this likely to have changed so suddenly after 3 years without problems ? Also, if I do turn the water pressure too low, will this affect the washing cycle and quality ?

KeymasterRe: Replacement glass for philips series 90 built in Oven
Thanks Dave
The holes are at each side of the glass, near to where the clamps are.
As long as its safe that’s great.
thanks very much for your help, will spread the word about this site.

KeymasterRe: lg dishwasher
Hi guys.
I have a LD-12AW2 dishwasher and having the same trouble as abergas1
No water getting in. When I run machine no water gets through the solenoid. Is their some other control switch that I should test. I have power at the pump. The water drains and it flashes that it is in wash cycle but no water enters machine. It pumps water out ok. I checked in the filters and all lines in and out??
Wayneadmin
Keymasterok, after rechecking the the led indicator, I think the flash code is 3 not 11. machine still does the same process, while the dial is ticking the led continues to flash in 3’s . I’m not a white goods engineer but I am a competant mechanical fitter, I’ve rechecked the wiring and cannot find any loose connections, the water level switch seems to funtion ok as well. I’m starting to think I may have scambled the pc board, any way to reset it. here’s hoping.

ok, martin, I get two flashes of the led then several rapid flashes, then eleven. Then it starts taking in water and pumping it out at the same time, then the wash dial starts ticking round. does that make any sense…I hope. 🙁

KeymasterRe: Hoover inter@ct
Did this problem get resolved, my fridge has the same fault.[
quote=”icebox”]We have a hoover Frost Free plus Fridgefreezer with inter@act electronic controls. It is two years old.
The Fidge Freezer seems to be malfunctioning. Not remaining frost free and getting very cold sometimes (mainly fridge), othertimes freezer virtually defrosts.
An error message flashes on the display (ERR 01) which seems to be cleared by holding in both the menu and set buttons together for around 10 seconds. My guess is that a sensor is faulty somewhere.
The manual is most unhelpful, simply saying if an error message flashes call an engineer. Is there anywhere I can find where error messages are listed? While I would never mess with the refridgeration part of the apliance surely electronics and sensors are not beyond the resonably able.
Grateful for any thoughts on fixing this or any other problems people have had with inter@ct (when we went on holiday last year we put it on holday mode and everyting in the fridge froze despite the fact that the setting is supposed to be a low one as the door will not be opened!).
Thanks

KeymasterRe: DASA meeting
Cheers Ken, sorry Del can’t let you do what you ask.
CM said the problem goes away only if I don’t blab, there is no other course of action as far Bridie and I are concerned. I have agreed not publicise it and have also warned that I will keep all the written falsehoods by Nesn, for a rainy day. If she steps out of line the deals off.
Kevin
PS..with usual NESN tact they could not talk to me, so this was all through JF who was and always has been their mouth piece.
So thanks Del and no thanks.
