Send them both to me at the return address on the label stuck to the packaging.

I’ll then send the correct one back to you after I’ve physically matched it up.

    Dave.

hi any luck matching it up ?

Re: Diplomat ADP 8132 Dishwasher – Faulty Door Switch

The door is not locked…as such.

The over centring catch is either stuck or the door has shut to with it already in the lock position.

It just needs a good tug, you have to accept this might crack/break the fascia panel and lock…but the cost of replacement parts is reasonable as you will have read.

If you can get to the edges, grip right abd left hand sides and PULL toward you.

    Good luck

    Hi All

The parts arrived this morning & the tumble dryer is now back in action, just as the sun comes out ❗

The advice and service were spot on. I will be recomending this site to any one with white goods that are playing up.

    Many thanks

Post code is RM11 3SD. Any indication of what component(s) – are they likely to be expensive?

My guess is it is a temperature sensor!

    Thanks

Re: Bosch SGS5312GB/12 Will not wash

    Morning,

Sounds as though the heater relay has a dry/burning joint on it. It is situated to the right hand side of fascia panel and is not a DIY job to rectify.

Look in the directories and pop your post code in for an agent close to you.

Many thanks for your advice my postcode is B80, I’d be interested to find a UKW Engineer in the area who knows of the Tricity Sovereign intimately.

From the outset, the water reservoir has been emptied. You mention the float chamber – where is this and how may this be accessed and checked?

Also, I wasn’t aware that there was a front T/Stat. Where in the door surround is this and how may this be accessed?

    Re: Hoover inter@ct

Thanks for your message Bob and helpful comment re where to find model no. I had looked down all the back of the machine – didn’t think they would hide model no etc inside! Model is HCA 393 FK.

We get two error codes Err 01 and Err 07.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks

Re: Creda Condensair Model 37754 Doesn’t heat

    Martin,

When I checked – I obtained continuity across each thermostat, which to my lame understanding, tells me that the thermostat is working. Presumably, at the operating temperature of each thermostat, the circuit becomes open until the system cools back down again.

I also checked continuity from one end of the heater element to the other and also continuity here – so the integrity of the element is sound.

I therefore conclude that the problem must exist elsewhere. Can anyone advise confirm my diagnosis and how I might go about investigating further?

Your assistance has been valuable. JM
