Hello everybody,
I just wanted to thank Dave for his help in getting us the spider and tell everybody that the machine is working again 🙂
We changed the spider, the bearings and the seal… all together for about 40 quid. It was lots of fun and everything is working fine.
Cheers, Andreasadmin

Top Man!
Well done Eastiman. You were absolutely right with your diagnosis.Stripped the machine down to find a red wire broken away from it’s lucar connector at the heater. Five minutes with some wire strippers and a new connector and the machine is ‘right as rain. I talked up my part to ‘her indoors’ and she thinks I’m a very clever chappie’. Might even get ‘afters following dinner tonight.
Good one my son. Thanks for the tip’
Regards

KeymasterRe: Aga masterchef – range cooker
Thanks for all the useful information.
There seems to be so much choice and although originally we were looking to spend between £1500 to £2k, we’re not sure whether paying a bit more will get us a much better cooker. The makes that have been thrown in our direction, in addition to the Aga, are Falcon, Britannia and Lacanche – we were originally going along the lines of Rangemaster but are now more than a little confused!admin
KeymasterRe: bosch dishwasher SGS5312 – stuck on rinse mode
Hi Martin
Thanks for the info. A prompt response – thanks again.
The machine did as you said.
I reset and ity pumped, then I turned off after 2 min. At start up the rinse cycle did not run – yehay!
I have now set it to run a ‘quick’ to see what happens.
I’ll let you know
Cheers

Thanks for your help. Looks like I’ll have to use some lateral thinking here.

KeymasterRe: Indesit WD12
Fault is intermittant. There appears to be two flashes when dial rotates round and round and round. Now when the tumble dryer is used, it is tumbling but not heating up at all. Not entirely sure if the wash cycle is heating water now.

More like pulled thread, then holes appear all over. Drum been checked, and guard appears O.K.

I have ordered a new valve from CES
cesexeter@btconnect.com
valve cost about £25 quid, hope this will fix the problem 😆If its the water management system, how do i unblock it?, is it an engineer job as i have checked all pipes and had a look underneath 😥

KeymasterRe: Indesit WG1130T Leaking
I was planning on using a jubilee clip instead of the spring clip. I use one where the outlet hose is connected under the sink. I’m surprised they aren’t fitted as standard in the washing machine.
Thanks for all the info.
