yes Quiet correct it stops pressure build up and cures leaking from left and right side of tank adjacent to door hinges , Cut main door seal length to 5mm below door seal retainer. Hope this helps

i would quiz customer about the load . as it is possible that it has had an out of balance load thus reverting back to distribute several times and increasing the wash cycle by up to 15 mins before giving up trying to balance the bath mat and pair of wellies she is trying to wash.

the only way to remove main timer knob on these machines is to drill a hole in centre to access the retaining screw then replace with c00087814 .

    Re: Indesit tech

you will find that if it an origional module the eeprom will be soldered on so you will need both module and eeprom. Module c00093157 and eeprom c00094742 if the machine is fitted with plastic tank and c00089846 if fitted with metal tank . if the machine has had the module replaced in the past then it will be fitted with a service module which has a removable eeprom and possibly get away with just the eeprom. Good LUCK

Re: Indesit/Ariston modules… Can they be replaced

with reguards to the difference between boards with removable epproms and soldered eeproms .All machines are produced wit a soldered eeprom and all service replacement modules come without an eeprom fitted so if you aint seen one with a removable eeprom then it is the origonal module

the plugs are all keyed and will only fit in correct place . as for the two single wires the one with the shield go to the right spade and the unshielded goes to the left (towards centre of board ) if you need diagram pm me and i will mail it you

it is an ariston built machine , door seals ar not a bad job to do . i tend to poke a long screwdriver through interlock hol to aid refitting inner retaining spring , other than that straight forward 5 minuite job
