I’d like to think that we make it look easy because a lot of us have done this for such a long time it comes second nature.

The carbon part of the brush should slide up and down easily before fitting spring. If not there will not be a decent contact with the armature

Not sure what others would charge but I’d say a ball park figure of around £60 would be close
