Do a service wash, clean filters, spray arms etc. are the glasses good quality and does the cloudiness come off

Almost certainly the element. Will need testing with an insulation tester to be certain

Spot on gazman. Im nearly 50 now and not sure how much longer I want to keep going at this, nearly 30 years in the trade now and 20 as an indie it is getting harder as years go by

Sounds like a coin or something similar had caused the damage, would probably need the tub replacing

If you’ve definitely got 240 across the terminals of the element and no heat then the element is faulty

Just an update, told the agent I wasn’t prepared to join the scheme and 2 months past the deadline they still call me out for jobs, when I asked if this was going to be a problem there was no comment, can only assume everyone has said the same oh well that £150 saved 🙂

There are a couple of toc’s on most Beko cookers that are prone to going. If timer is ok ten probably one of those

Had exactly that on my own machine ( don’t ask why I got one ). I ended up drilling plastic so it fitted over the screw and sealed it in place. That was ages ago and it’s still fine however not so sure I would’ve done that for a customer

Did you replace the pulley. If not you need to as it’s slightly smaller. Still a tight fit but not too bad.
