    Re: Electrolux TDS 2005 disc.

Bloody marvellous though, I really needed the diagnostics for a Zanussi FX1465W today – and Connect are out of stock of the DVD. 😈
    Ohhh………..fffffff..iddlesticks!! 😀
Thanks anyway for the info, Dave, I was starting to think it was my old steam powered computer that was at fault.

    Thanks for that, Kentish!!
Getting tetchy about ordering very expensive Bosch special order non-returnable parts after getting a Bosch module part number mixed up last month and consequently I now own a £140ish +VAT module I don’t need. 😥
Your help is much appreciated!!! Cheers! 😀

Re: Bosch WFT2800GB/13 no drier heat.

Had this again today on a WFT2806/13 FD8205. Power to the drier heater at the start of the drying cycle, pump cuts in, power is cut, no heat and the drier goes stone cold. No power to the heater unless the cycle is restarted. (The machine mentioned at the top of this thread was left unrepaired as she had a separate drier, so I didn’t have the opportunity to prove the NTC was faulty.) Is there anything else controlling the heat besides the NTC? Does NTC failure cause this fault?
Bosch washer/driers seem prone to this fault and also the one mentioned by Jim in an adjacent thread: ie; the safety cut out stat had tripped out for no obvious reason. The one I looked at had no fluff blockages anywhere, BUT- the fan motor would make a dry ‘squeak’ on run-down. So I have a VERY expensive fan motor on order- hope to goodness I’m right.
😳 I cannot see any other explanation for this fault. (I will try the ‘triac test’ though, thanks for that info).
Need to find the answers, guys!! :help:

    Thanks,

    Steve.

    Re: CANDY CIV60 DRYER

This should do it – HVR 97922496. It’s a sod to fit, but the drier runs beautifully afterwards. 😉

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

I’m assuming that the ’48ER101C1′ is a direct replacement for the 43ER101C1 with no mods. 😕
    I’ve ordered one in anyway.

    Thanks again,

    Steve.

    Re: large syringe

i recently got a syringe from machine mart its classed as a oil suction gun but its just a large stainless steel syringe with flexible hose attatched which is maybe a bit large for the tool box seems like its indestructable take a look at it http://www.machinemart.co.uk part no 040215070 and its only £5.99 pls vat ! bargain !
its been very useful for me so far.

You’re right, Paul!! I bought one last week. What an excellent piece of kit!! Perfect for flooded bases of Bosch and Indesit dishwashers; I’ve already used it for both of these. And being 500cc. capacity, it quickly empties a d/w with a pump failure (as I had today: built in tight and outlet hose disappearing behind concealed panel….).

    Thanks for the recommendation,

    Steve. 😀

    Thanks, Dave!!!
Connections show those numbers as Baumatic parts – no problem – I don’t think the customer’s going to like the quote anyway……. 😆

    Thanks for the quick response!!

Hinges are in stock at Connect @ £7.86 + VAT each. 😉

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.

PS. Couldn’t find separate hinge sockets to fit these hinges, I’m afraid. Maybe worth waiting for Maddocks! 😕
