    Re: Hotpoint Atlantis not filling

Model number and serial number please….. and you mean Aqualtis? There are so many variants that these numbers are vital to diagnose. Although if the valve has frozen then defrosted and sprayed water inside the cabinet it could have affected the module which is situated at the back right lower corner of the machine.

Re: Bosch heatpumps failing on install,is it just me??

I live in a hard water area (Dorset) and I have only had one customer that I can recall that has repeated heat pump failures. His dishwasher is just four years old. I had to fit a new heatpump within the first year despite his warranty as he couldn’t and wouldn’t look for his paperwork and wouldn’t wait for BSH to do it. I have not altered the hard water settings on any of the heatpump machines I’ve repaired.

    But…….

Blocked filters, blocked wash rotor jets, filters not locked down properly and impaired wash pump paddle capacity due to it being full of cr@p that can only get there if the filters are not clean and locked down.

So the bottom line of the fault flow chart is the lazy arse user. The absolute irony is the customer that I mentioned at the top of this post who will not get to grips with cleaning his filter for months and doesn’t lock it down has just been visited today and a new heatpump is on order. Fourth time lucky, eh? :bang:
I shouldn’t care really because I get paid every time…….

Tried LG and they can’t identify it either. Maybe they just don’t support it at that age? Thanks for your efforts, Don; much appreciated.

Re: Hot point fdff1110g error 10

If the wash pump is noisy or worn then the heater may not have the sufficient flow through it and the thermal overload (on the heater itself) will go O/C. Made that mistake myself on a Hotpoint of this style and a Whirlpool with a similar heat / pump design a few years back. Always check the impellor for sideways movement before fitting the heater.

    Hope that helps!

Green? You could buy a lot of electricity for the cost of the pulleys it’ll go through.
Heat pump driers……. vanity over sanity, virtue signalling sandal wearing cr@p. 😡

Thanks Dave – I had already ordered that gasket, received it today and can confirm you are right! Cheers for that.

Thanks Dave – it’s the usual Hotpoint design; large door and ‘briefcase’ door handle.

    Re: Qualtex Account Closure

Well well……and I was going to ring Qualtex in the morning to tell them that I could have spent the £2K that went to Connect last month with them, but if they had no stock, I couldn’t buy it. So therefore I cannot be responsible for dropping down the ‘rankings’ table. Simple things like regular fodder Bosch dishwasher heat pumps – out of stock.
At least it’s not just me that’s affected.
Maybe the acquisition of Masterpart and Jegs has stretched them a bit? Could this be the reason for a shocking lack of stock? Hopefully they get back on track as I find Qualtex are usually really good. Felt a bit guilty giving it all to Connect, but I feel I have no option at the moment I’m afraid.

Replaced the relay on the board and all has been well until today. Same as before – cuts out after a period of use. Looks like stats or PCB. Any other pointers welcome.

Part number 1327756233 – shown at £46 retail at Zanussi. Shown on Qualtex but couldn’t find it on here; I’m sure it can be sourced easily.

    Hope that helps!

Re: hi my beko dw 80323

Not heating or broken wires in the door (regular Beko fault). Go careful when checking the door wires – if several are broken you can easily reconnect incorrectly as there are 2 or 3 wires of identical size and colour.

    Power off first! :plug:
