    Dito :rolls:

Same price here………and Connect’s Bosch parts are way over retail when you add the VAT. This situation is starting to really p1ss me off as there is now no way to just buy without extensive (and time consuming) searching, cross – referencing and checking. Even worse if you’re waiting for Qualtex prices to appear……

Same timer as White Knight CL447V – easier to find than CDA. 😉
Connect stock it as part number 5045171481284 at £17.11 + VAT.

I still couldn’t resolve this door problem so a second hand door in perfect condition is fitted now – one of my friends had one of the “common” ones. :rolls:
    As I said, Stupid Indesit……… 😈

    Thanks for the help guys,

Motor brushes are the likely culprit – worn or stuck in their holders. Remove and check them first.

Power Off before any inspection. :plug:

This guy has cornered the market on the “impossible to get” parts!!!!
£31.69 is very steep but if the customer will pay……. 😉
He’s still listing the Hotpoint tripod kit……. 😯

    Thanks for that!!

Re: Where to buy integrated appliances?

Thanks Don, I appreciate your info. I managed to “lean on” a local kitchen fitter we have referred customers to in the past. He managed to get the machines a little cheaper – not much – but I was grateful for offloading the searching legwork to him.
My orders would never come to £500 – and £45 delivery is something I could not recoup on a hob and oven.

    Thanks again,

    Steve.

Connect do loads of parts for this oven – type in only “FX5847”.
There are 2 ordinary capillary ‘stats showing and a temperature probe; although IIRC, the probe is for the pyro – clean function. 😉

Re: Cowboys still riding the range

£320 to fit a pair of hinges to a Neff cooker. 😯
How can you justify that? Fortunately, the customer (elderly couple) declined the repair but were still charged £75. The door was not even removed from the appliance for closer inspection – the grease and gunge round the hinge had not been disturbed. They were pressed to replace the Neff instead of repairing it and the lady said she only paid the £75 to make the fellow go away. She added that she was angry but was prepared to lose the £75 for him to stay away.
The only fault with the door (early Neff door; long framed hinges with 2 big springs) was a broken spring end loop. 5 minutes with the pliers and the hinges pulled up – good as new. Refitted the door and one elated customer.

I’m glad “they” are around – they make the rest of us look like superstars without even breaking a sweat. 😉

Tried that number on Qualtex, Chris – cross references as C00202288 – same as 1604341!!
Looks like this machine is a one – off!! 😆
Stupid Indesit!! I’ll just have to keep trying…….. 🙁

    Thanks,

Re: How to reset an Indesit WIA101.

No black dots or stop positions on this machine unfortunately, Mike; there is a program at every selector position, hence the confusion. Tried the switch off and wait method, but when the machine was switched back on, it just resumed the program where it left off.
    Hence :bang:

    Thanks for the input,

    Steve.

That seems to cross reference as 1604341 – same part as I have here. Connect search shows them as one and the same…….. 😕 😕
