Every one I’ve seen with seal failure has been noisy or seized TBH. 😉

Most that I’ve seen had main wash pump seal failures – tip the machine back and the motor is caked in corrosion. The pump will leak badly when washing. It’s probably not a door leak; could be overfilling. Bet on the wash pump……… 😉

The “cut in” switches on the cabinet cooling fan. The “cut out” switches the oven off if the cut in doesn’t work and the cabinet overheats. 😉
You’ll need the fan cut in (or initiation) ‘stat.Hope that helps,

Out of balance load? One or two heavy items will sometimes cause a no spin fault. Had one today!!!!

ParticipantRe: Beko WMA 765W Main Board please ?
Pressure bottle blocked by chance? That could possibly account for only functioning on high water level programs and lack of spin.

ParticipantRe: Bosch sticking on cycle
These machines used to suffer from broken door wiring around the hinge top screw area – the loom would ‘melt’ into the bituminous soundproofing and snap the wires. Worth a look!! 😉

ParticipantRe: servis m6006w module
EMW are best for this – and 12 month warranty to boot. 😉 I don’t think Servis modules are interchangeable. If it’s not the problem return it to EMW. No stress….:D

I know how to access diagnostics, but I have looked at TDS and I can’t find a test program mentioned, only Demo mode. 😕
It is as if the main PCB is not configured, as the display board seems to work perfectly. And the door locks. There is only one main PCB available for this machine, but as I said, the type numbers and S/W version doesn’t match the original board.
The only option I have is to go back and try the diagnostics. Can you detail the test program setting please Mark?Cheers,
Steve.

Against my better judgement, I ordered the main PCB and the user interface (fascia PCB). TDS shows the user interface PCB (1321914754); the main PCB (973914601235000) was supplied configured. Also fitted new interlock unit (1249675131).
Just to recap on the original fault, the interlock was burnt and would chatter loudly, nothing else. No display. The main PCB was found to be blown in several places.
Fitted the new parts today and ‘Yes!!’ the program times show on the display. 😀 Then pressed the ‘Start’ button. The door interlock locks, and the Start LED keeps flashing………but the machine is dead. I have tried everything I can think of on this stupid machine and it still will not work. TDS offers no clues. My gut instinct was right all along!! 😈
The new main PCB is right in part number but the type numbers don’t match. The S/W version number is different too. Does that matter? All the plugs are keyed so getting them wrong is unlikely; I marked them as well to be sure. The interlock, and both PCB’s are new; all wiring is fine and in place………I’m foxed!!!!!! 😥One thing it has (very expensively) taught me is that Lux machines are as cr@p as Indesit. And I won’t be doing this again…..
Please…..any help or pointers greatly appreciated!!!!

ParticipantRe: Zanussi ZCE5000BK glass plate?
Firstly, the ceramic hob should be covered by your house insurance – obviously it’ll cost the excess, but where the ceramic top can be £250 + labour……. 😯
Contact your insurance company and they will guide you through getting it repaired professionally. Don’t buy anything until you have spoken to them.Hope that helps,
Steve.

Friday evening as we did last year; most people went home soon after the general meeting anyway. I have to get back early Saturday morning, like Ade.
