    Hi Martin,Baron.
Thanks for your reply.I’ve checked pully, counterweight they look ok. The shock absorbers could do with changing though. I’ve tryed washvac and Masterpart both say they’re speacial orders 10 days plus. Do you know of anywhere i could get them quicker? Masterpart have given me a part number C00086515?
    Thanks for all your help.
    Much appreciated.

Hi Chaps, thank you all for your suggestions. There is no clamp inside the machine and there isn’t a large jubilee clip around the seal either. It’s leaking between the seal and the sump at the back of the machine. I can see whereabouts it is by removing the inlet valve. The tank itself is ok.
    Thanks again.

Re: Hotpoint Dishwasher Mod DWF 33

Thanks, Jim, Chris and Martin. From what i could see it looked as though the water was coming through between the seal and the sump? When i removed the tank the the white and green wires attached to the red float microswitch came off. there’s 3 terminals on the switch. I’m sure it was only the white one attached to the top terminal. Is that correct?
    Thanks chaps.

Hi Jim, I’ve found that this machine is leaking from the sump seal. I’ve taken it apart but the seal looks ok. After cleaning the seal and putting it back together it still leaks. Any idea of the seal part number please?
    Many Thanks.

Hi, Had one like this myself a while ago. Can’t remember the model number though. It turned out to be a dry joint on the heater relay. I resolderd it and it worked fine. Hope this is of some help to you.
    Good luck.

Hi, Sounds like thermostat. Switch off and remove plug first before you change it.
