Cheers guys I have checked the knob and yes by opening the door. I was thinking it was faulty timer myself but said I’d check with you guys on the off chance it could be fixed without buying a timer which the customer won’t be doing I think. The reason I was called to it was because it was tripping the breaker which turned out to be a broken wire to the heater and this must have damaged the timer.

Hi Johno did you manage to sort this out as I have the same problem but I don’t see a thermistor on the heating element like there is on a vtd 60g.

Thanks again Martin I had tried that so many times yesterday but It never worked I called back today and it worked the second time. I must have been doing something wrong.

Hi seamy yes it was filling to right level turned out to be main board I found the diagnostic mode In known test procedures I should have looked there before posting.

Cheers Martin I’m stuck at which code to select the intensive wash on this m/c is at pos 8, 9 is Eco, 1 is quick, 2 is rinse, and 3 is reset. and also s2 is 1/2 load.there is only two options with 1/2 load c3 and c4 but they both have auto at pos 8. Have you come across this before?
