Hi guys Iv got to call to one of these m/cs the fault is its dead.Its an AKZ154/NB service no 858515415030 .Could this be related to these resistors.All help greatly appreciated.

Hi Phidom did you manage to sort this problem. I was called to one of these m/cs two weeks ago where the retainer had come off so I just put it back on but now the customer says its off again .Is this a common prob on these m/cs?

Hi guys just to let ye know I replaced the capacitor but the m/c is still not working so the customer is buying a new m/c.

Cheers Martin I seen this last night and of course I tried it but no luck so I had a look at the circuit board and there was a domed top to a 1000uf capacitor.I will order some and post my results.

Cheers Scientist I had asked her all these questions and she said there was nothing blocking it and the door was opening but when I called the door was being released ok but was not opening fully because the spring had come out of position.

Sorry Iadom its a hotpoint fdl 570 I had just been reading your post on the known error codes on fdf 780 before posting my question so got them mixed up.

Hi I had this pulsing prob on a w/p d/w and changed the rectangular capacitor on the module and this sorted it.
