Thanks Steve but the customer said this stopped mid cycle.I have checked the known error codes but all I can find are codes for m/cs with digital display. The lights that are on are from left to right are 3,4,5 and the service light. This call is over thirty miles away so if I knew what this code was I could take the part with me rather than making two trips.Any ideas guys? email is tght@eircom.net if someone has the error codes

Re: electrolux ewf 14108w washing machine

Hi just to let ye know how I how I got on. I went out and started the cycle and the m/c overfilled ( which the customer never mentioned) and the drum turned a few times and then aborted the cycle and pumped out the water. It turned out that the screw holding the pressure chamber to the drum had come lose and fallen off and so the pressure chamber had dropped down, so screwed it back on and worked perfect. Thanks again for your advice its greatly appreciated.

    Re: whirlpool awz410

Not the pcb this time chris . I fitted a new one and the same prob also when you select a drying cycle it actually goes into a wash cycle so would I be right in thinking its the timer as it seems to have all the cycles mixed up .
