that motor is driven from the coreboard, try tapping the relay with a screwdriver when you hear it click it might just conferm it is faulty, that model also has a dryer pcb so worth a look at that too.

Re: Thermostat Capillary Tubes – Sheathed or Bare

the sheath is an added protection for the capillary and the user, just a note on replacing a LEC thermostat with a ranco stat, somtimes the off position is 90 degrees out so you have to adjust the control knob. plug out first.

Re: hoover SV23 001 low heat

looking at the circuit diagram that heater element is wired in parralel, the high/low heat is selected from the front panel switch it just shorts out the low temp cut out and uses the high heat one, if you want the diagram pm me your email.

    Hi Mike,

just love your repair storys, and nice to here from someone who still repairs to componat level, without having a zoomed out picture of the pcb to see other componats around the red box i would say that its a pulse transformer, Used in SCR and TRIAC starting circuits of low, medium and high powers.

Re: Stoves cooker 600 DFDOA 050554503

    hi winker,

the only one i ever did took me 2.5 hours to do, but i did have both kits with me, it is quite easy once you work out which is the correct kit/wiring diagram for the model you are working on.

    good luck.
