    Hi dealdd,

if its a new installation then its possible that the solinoid valve has been contaminated inside with debris, and as brian says it needs to be changed.
if the tray is just overfilling and the fill water is stopping, as alanj says post up the model no. as the fill rate can be adjusted.

    Hi Jim/Mark,

the faults you have with this console pcb are very common at the moment, the eprom on the factory pcb is a surface mounted device.

    hi all,

LE as stated in the ukwhitegoods code book is incorrect (must be a missprint), LE is a motor lock error and as mbdas says it could by any of the three faults he has listed, but check the motor plug wiring first as corrsion from a weeping bearing seal can cause this, if that fails change the motor stator as the hall sensor effect switch is faulty.

    Hi Robbiebegg,

it sounds as if the freezer evaporator fan motor has stopped turning for some reason, possible ice build up due to the door being left open.

pm me you email address and i will send some info.

    hi mjw1208

check the direct drive stator plug and socket for corrosion and water ingress caused by a leaking drum support shaft seal, if thats ok its the stator itself or the hall effect sensor which is part of the stator.

    hi ally

remove the door trim and you will find that the door latch pin has risen upwards and out of its bottom hole dont know why it does it but it does refit and your problem is gone. 😉
