    Hi Blot
the door parts are avaiable as spares so a complete assy is not required,
please have a look in the repairs for a local engineer as this sounds like a simple fix to me. 😀

    Hi Blot,
the problem you have with your appliance is an easy fix and it might not even require parts, check the door catch assembly (on the door itself) very carefully first, as the handle pin has a habbit of comming out for no reason, if it is the door lock assembly (Machine side) before checking please pull the plug first or seek pro help in the repairs toolbox on the lefthand side of the site.

    Re: teba gas hob knob

    Hi Bonovox

the model number is located on the base of the appliance its the numbers with the letters GB in the middle that is important, you may have to remove the oven below it to gain acces so plug out first and be carefull. failing that a emailed picture to me direct will be enough.

Re: Do you prefer electronic timers?

I agree with you andy but not many in this game will have a go at repairing a module, they use other companies for that, i have saved many modules from an early grave by employing your said methods, and the electronics are here to stay, as ken says its all down to cost, just wish they would pass that price on to the parts departments of the major manufacures who are ripping everyone off.

    Re: R134A blockages.

    Hi Harryw,
    welcome to the site,
R134A is prone to blockages more than the good old R12, to clear capilary blockages i use nitrigen and an application of heat from an electric heat gun, normaly gets them going, as to the joints use lockrings with the correct fittings.

    hope that helps

Re: Candy Frost-Free Fridge Freezer Model CCFF 29/13

    Hello Kev.
in your first post you stated the fridge section of your f/freezer was not getting cold, the PCB module will not cause this fault, please take advice nd seek a refrigeration engineer.

    Cheers Bob.

Re: Frost Free Candy Fridge-Feezer: Fridge Not Cold Enough

    Hi Kev,
a true frost free fridge freezer uses the air from the freezer section to cool the fridge, the candy appliance you have uses a seperate evaporator foamed into the rear of the fridge behind the back wall.
it is not accesable by you or an engineer. 🙁
please seek a engineer or use the repairs section on the left of the screen to find one close to you.

    Cheers Bob.
