    Hi Kev,
    Your candy appliance is not a true frost free, in that it uses a cold wet wall with an evaporator behind it to cool the fridge compartment, its engineer time i am afraid as the symptoms you gave sound as if the system is short of refrigerant.

    try looking in the repairs section for a local engineer.

    Hello Mrs R.

    please do not release any of the refrigerant and contact the dealer you got it from and Point him to this site.

    dont be to alarmed that the fridge is overcharged, but please get it checked ASAP and make sure refrigerant is reclaimed and not allowed to mix with air as that is when he explosive problems are an issue.

    help and advise is allways avialable on the site.

    blade size 300mm diamater 900rpm 45watts fully encased in motor and blade guard.

    look round the back of the appliance there should be a red reset button try pressing that first, if it has tripped check for a blocked filter and condenser.

    change the snubber and fit the new stronger springs, be carefull when fitting the snubber as it has a 200lb spring that has to be loosened to gain access.

    Hi Pat.
    just to ask if you done an insulation test on the heater and the motor as i have had a few of these that show strange random faults and its been down to earth leakage (but not enough to trip RCDs out).

    i had the same problem with one of these machines on the second visit i fitted a nes PCB and it cleared both faults.

    Hi Mike,
    the only problem i have seen with this appliance is corruption of the processor , the display then just lights up every didgit, remove the top and on the display panel if you are lucky you wil see a reset switch if you are not its just two shorting links to reset the prosessor , failing that its the pcb.
