    Re: Bluetooth or Handsfree?

    Martin,
have you had any conflict between your radio and your headset. I mean, if you leave the car, does your headset work automatically or do you have to re-configure it and conversely, when you get back to the car, does the bleutooth radio take over?

It was a clean install on a new computer. Eventually it installed after about ten attempts.

I got it from Connect. It was showing nil stock but arrived on the next delivery. Lucky me!

it’s the stat on the left. A model number for a UK machine with the same stat layout would probably be all I need.

Don’t forget to check the earth strap on the rear bearing shaft. If it’s broken or been lubricated with a non conductive grease then the sensor won’t work.

    Great. I’ll be there.

Anyone coming from the south east? I’ve got room for a passenger.

Edit… Sorry, I won’t be going straight back on the Saturday now so its probably no use for a lift for anyone.

Thanks boys. I think I will go and have another look before ordering a motor.

My TDS disk died so I could not look up the info in the house. Now I have the new disk I will go and check for error codes etc.

The water level seemed to be ok. I did not check to see if it started to heat as there was obviously a water pressure problem.

    The capacitor is a possible…

I take it that you meggared the machine. A DTE element can cause this fault.

Check the seal to the top spray nozzle at the back of the machine. I have had two Beko’s with a split nut on the nozzle. Both had been sealed with mastic at the factory and had lasted about two years before failing.

It’s a bit like a Bosch if I remember correctly.

Might need a helping hand to hold the top of the spring in place whilst pulling the rest of the spring in place.

Your customer might be trying to fit it without removing the front panel. 😕

That was my first thoughts but this is the [proper] AEG machine with the motor at the back right hand side. The impellor and pump housing is fine. I’m a bit stumped as the motor appears to be free and sounded as if it was going at the right speed. It pulses at two speeds so I am assuming that the electronics are ok. Running with the door open, at low speed the water barely dribbles out of the lower spray arm and when it pulses at high speed it has better flow but no-where near the correct rate.

Unfortunatly it is a built-in machine in a small kitchen and I have no way of water testing it with the side panel off.
