How can it do that with a two pole induction motor? There is no inverter to change the frequency. Does it bring in a balast resistor?

Use a flat bladed screwdriver as a wedge to prise off the top cover at the back of the machine. Done several dozen and not broken one yet.

I had a similar situation today. The mains plug for the washer was behind a fridge that would have taken an age to move.. the customer was happy to kill the mains supply while I worked on the machine by removing the main fuse.

My sure fire protection in this case is to short out the live and neutral on the mains suppressor with my meggar crocodile clip.

I’ve never had a problem yet but should the power come back on it would make a few fireworks but I would be safe.

Dave… The connect site shows both the trims as outers ??? Do you think this is a Connect error?

Same confusion here. I followed the sequence to the letter and had to try three or four times.

I’ve got a feeling it is to do with whether the door is open or closed. After I got it working I didn’t want to risk wasting any more time playing.

Check the heater… a heater fault can often give errant fault codes.

I just stick mine to the dashboard with a self adhesive Velco pad.

It’s interesting how many errors there are on the sat navs; yesterday alone, it tried to send me the wrong way down a one way street, into a brick wall and there are several roads in my area that are missing from the maps or wrongly named.

There was a story in the local paper a few weeks ago where a [woman] driver ended up driving up the railway line on a level crossing! 😯

I does make you wonder when things like this turn up… However I am sure this one was kosher.
