ParticipantThat’s great news, could you send the link from the .gov website as I can’t find it.
I’ll print it out before I go to work

ParticipantThat’s so true grooster, Rishi Sunak has offered nothing to the self employed, stopping work really isn’t a option if you’ve got the pressure of a mortgage, bills and kids.
I predict a lot of self employed people like us are tomorrow going to be trying to justify why where working tomorrow.

Participanthe said you can only travel to and from your place of work.
My place of work is customers houses.
not much on now anyway, lots of cancellations
What a mess, never saw this coming, this will drag on for yearsboselecta

Crazy they don’t supply the part separately.boselecta
ParticipantI would have replaced the dispenser lid rather than the dispenser body and drawer, sometimes the jets can get blocked and spray water in the incorrect direction.
Also worth switching water pressure down to a trickle and raising feet at front (may not be possible with integrated appliance).Failing that I would suspect over-soaping

ParticipantBit of a worry for those with elderly relatives.
We are definitely in a higher risk than most of catching the virus, meeting loads of strangers a day in their often all too dirty homes.
I’ve had flu once before and the hot /cold fever really wasn’t nice so not looking forward to catching that again.Unfortunately I’m confident that your not going to find any hand sanitisers in the shops.
Not really loads you can do, I’m just making sure I wash my hands after each job for longer and I’ve stopped accepting a cup of tea and gone back to my old flask.
Guess we’ll see in a few months how many of us are left!

ParticipantHi Lawrence,
In a word “no”, they are not straightforward.
There is a screw underneath the retainer that is a pain to get to.
Rightly or wrongly I bend the base plate slightly to get to it, others here will I’m sure tell you to do the job properly and take back sides and base off to access it.
You decide, 😉Good luck

ParticipantI’ve fitted a couple of QUAPLY40 or 50-HP-03 which are substitutes for C00113879, they have the same shaft size and have had no call backs.
I always add extra grease on the carbon shaft as well.

ParticipantHi mate,
i queried this a on this forum a year or so ago.
https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/forum/trade-member-forums/trade-technical-spare-parts-forums/trade-technical-enquiries/92516-s727p70y0g-11-neff-dishwasher-heat-pump-fitting
Unfortunately it’s a case of taking the tank off the machine to replace the heat pump as side access is extremely restricted.
Remember to factor this into the cost of heat pump next time.boselecta
ParticipantBeen using Sumup the last month or so now.
Can’t believe I didn’t do this years ago, customers love it, I get them to type in their email afterwards and it sends them a receipt.
This has to cut down on the dreaded, “can I BACS you later?” crowd.
Now my come back is “BACS isn’t necessary, do you want to do a contactless or pin transaction?”boselecta
ParticipantHi Ray,
I’ve learnt the hard way to never order PCB boards from trade suppliers as well.
If you order them direct from the manufacturer they will return them.
Also my first port of call would have been EMW for this board.

Good question.
I would recommend carrying out the repair but advising the customer afterwards on your invoice to check their machine on the Whirlpool website to see if they are affected by the recall.boselecta
ParticipantI know this is a zombie thread but what card payment machines are you guys using now?.
I’m still old school cash or cheque, I’m getting fed up of the “I’ve got no cheque book can I pay by BACS later”, customers.
I’ve been looking at Sumpup that have no contract but charge 1.69{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} per transaction, has anyone here any recommendations or advice
