    hi jasper,
Dont think it will be this resistor as this causes none of the led’s to illuminate ie dead.
Thats not to say it couldnt be another board problem.

If there are no earth leaks on the heating element I would go for the module, have had them wash continuously and replaced the module.

    Hi Johnny,
I am fitting these hinges on a K4463X fridge freezer on friday, does the appliance have to come out to do this job?. I didnt thinnk so when I had a look but never done this job before.

Also I am charging £93 parts and labour. I normally charge more for built in appliances.

I really wouldnt be too worried about it, its not like he is in the same trade!. It will quickly become clear to any customers that they have called the wrong number.

Rather than threatening the new owner of Ace repairs I would actually call him up, explain your concerns and ask him to direct any appliance repair customers to your number and offer to do the same likewise.

    Or start mending cycles!…

    Brilliant, She is working now!

It was that 22ohm resistor that was open circuit, went to my local Maplins over the weekend, the resistor cost 34p, a bit better than getting the new module at £150!

Thanks Martin this one was heading for the scrap heap before I read this post!

Please tell me about fitting resistors to the module. Went to see a AWOD4505 the other day where none of the facia pcb LED’s would illuminate. Put it down to PCB fault which made the machine BER ,not aware of resisitor fix.?

Yes have changed the motor on a few of these.
I would check the start capacitor first though.

I think its all hype, they are now saying they reacon the same number of people will die as they do every year of seasonal winter flue, like chicken flue nothing will come of it.

That said I could do without catching a dose of it!
