thanks Ken, you can delete this thread if its a duplicateboselecta
ParticipantTrouble is even if Qualtex now stock every single part at half the price of anyone else, 3 day delivery isn’t good enough for my customers.
As a sole trader I tell my customers I can get parts by next day delivery so I’ve had to tell Qualtex that their business model now doesn’t fit in with mine.
Customers are more demanding now days, 3 days delivery is not acceptable for most of the general public now days.
Shame as they’ve been my main parts supplier for the last twelve years.
Time to move on folks. . .

I don’t think their interested Dave and I’m pretty sure they won’t respond.
Two day delivery if you order before 12 is basically a 3 day delivery.I guess that’s their way of telling us to look elsewhere. What a joke for a trade supplier!.
Between Maddocks and Ebay I should be able to cover my parts.boselecta
ParticipantYes I agree with others not happy with the two day deliveries, it would have been nice if they could have told us in advance, although to be fair they have amended the wording on their website now.
Just wish Maddocks had a bit more stock then I could say goodbye to Qualtex.

ParticipantHi Bob,
Thanks for replying, there is a breather hose / steam hose that goes from the dispenser to the top of the drum but it doesn’t line up with the screw unfortunately.
Going to re- quote customer for a tub removal job, there going to be overjoyed!!boselecta
ParticipantUnfortunately there are so many of this type of company around that I now always insist on the labour paid upfront or I won’t attend.
I honestly think if you agree to go there without securing payment beforehand your chances of receiving any money are virtually nil.
Bear in mind these companies almost certainly won’t be around in the next 12 months.

ParticipantOk fair enough, I am grateful for this forum as its a useful free service and perhaps it’s only me but I do miss the old search engine as most of my searches are fault code related which don’t seem to work anymore.
I also appreciate that most of the people using the forum search facility are not using it in the trade specific way I was using it.
🙂

Participantah yes, was going to ask about the search.
Platform certainly looks more attractive but a worse search functionboselecta
ParticipantProbably the condenser unit is all fluffed up with lint.
If you take the dry motor off, you can get get a clothes wire and scrape it out, bit of a pig to access and clean out though.

ParticipantHi John,
I’m sure CBN9213 would fit this CESET motor, I would normally recommend fitting the genuine part but on the Bosch website there £52.39 each!, I’m pretty sure your customer wouldn’t go for a brush set at £105 pounds.

ParticipantRe: Sure-cover ltd
Yes looks very odd website.
They want me to look at a washing machine on Monday.I’m going to call them and ask them to pay my labour charge before going, too big a risk with this unknown lot.
