ParticipantRe: Part number or product code?

My problem is that the website only divulges the product code (barcode) number. This is fine for ordering but not so clever when I want to fit a part that is on the van and I need to ensure that it is the correct one.You can still enter the gen. part number into Connect website search and it`ll come up with the part and their 5031………. number.
Other than that I could recommend an account with Masterpart 😉

Went along to this one fearing the worst but to my pleasant surprise found pressure switch connector (5 yellow wires) had slipped off , pushed it back on and it seemed to fit tight enough.
Job done 😀 , obviously not a very common thing to happen and customer says no excessive vibration . Hope this may help someone in future because I really thought it would be a module fault.

Drop the BE and simply enter the number and you`ll get it on Connect , assuming you`re using the website 😉 .

Hi Rob , not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure about this but I recently fitted one of those to a Beko cooker , part number BE260941816. It was a different model but good chance it`s the same thermal fuse , only £3 from Connect 😯 :D.

Ok Martin , I was thinking back to this thread and I can assure you that 096805 is not inter-changeable with 096331 despite suggestions that it should be.
Bosch part numbers , right enough :rolls:

You will also find the original 096331 end frame will fit just fine, but again they have changed the number on that to 496872 ❗Are you sure that end cap will work Martin :?:.
I`d be careful Jim because I`m almost certain that you need end cap 096809 (496875) and 096331 will not work.

I dont know if this has anything to do with it or not but the door never seems to lock, it never clicks. Is it the door lock or does it sound like a pcb fault to you.Certainly the door interlock is a common enough fault on these and unfortunately it can damage the module at the same time .
I`d try a new interlock first but if no joy you will have to inspect the module for signs of damage and sometimes you can repair the blown tracks.

ParticipantRe: Bosch Classixx WAE24162 or Siemens WXLM148A?
Hi Doug
I think you`ve answered most of your own questions and the Siemens machine with 5 year parts and labour really does represent a good deal IMO. As you say if you add the cost of the guarantee to the Bosch you have virtually the same price but Siemens has the edge on little brother Bosch for quality.
Service wise both much the same and yes brushes can be replaced on that motor.

I too need a pair of hinges for the main oven door on this model.
Do we have any more spares info. , part numbers and suppliers or is it still a case of calling Britannia direct :?:.
Thanks

Thanks for that 😀 , my memory was that a 3 turn Zanussi element does the job but I`ve got most of the common elements on the van anyway.
Yes Ken , priced accordingly , within reason of course :).

Ah yes , haven`t replaced one of those L shaped 546547 modules in ages but from memory that is the fault. Module does control water valves etc.
EMW or QER should be able to help but £44:99 from Masterpart.
