Did Comet actually advise swapping to an Indesit or did they simply agree to your customers request for this particular dishwasher.
Your customer sounds like he knows what he wanted and thought he could even plumb it in without your services , obviously mistaken :rolls:.

    Re: Bosch pump.

You ever been supplied with these Martin :?:.

Not a Plaset or a Askoll and I`ve recently had to replace a couple under guarantee because the impellor has fallen off :x.
I`d advise anyone who comes across these pumps to fit something more reliable to the new filter housing , I normally fit a Hanning.

Seems like the customers own fault to me 😕 , he was obviously trying to save himself a few quid by plumbing it in himself and ran into some “difficulties” :rolls:.

Re: Expenses for Heating, Lighting, Office space etc.

As a sole trader working from home my accountant lists as a tax deductable expense “use of home as office”.

I pay all my gas and electricity bills through the business but only 25{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is tax deductable.

All this seems acceptable to the inland revenue.During our face to face discussion a few years back they questioned everything including things like how many pairs of trousers I bought my children :rolls: but “use of home as office” expense was perfectly acceptable.

I think UPS have been recently bought over or amalgamated with another courier. I too had delays a couple of weeks back but seems ok now.
    Teething problems I`d imagine :rolls:

Have you got the serial number and I’ll try and find out for you 🙂

It looks much like an Ego simmerstat to me so it may be worth checking the numbers on the stat itself and getting pattern ones 😉

Serial No. 3591600 , I think cause I`m struggling to read my own upside down writing :rolls:.

If I can`t get gen. replacements at a reasonable cost I`ll call it a day on this one because it would mean a return trip and the hob would need removed and taken apart as there is no inspection cover plate 🙁 .

    Thanks again :D.

Thanks Dave , Connect is the only supplier I can get a price on this part , £41:10+vat 😯 with SRP£60:37 :eeek:.

Are these prices about right or are Connect having a laugh :?:.

With 3 of the 4 regulators playing up it looks like a new hob.

Obviously no re-circulating pumps fitted to the Scottish version of this model :protest: it`s probably the good water :stir:
