Was that definitely him back last night under the name Ken_W ❓

He doesn`t seem to have latched on to the IP address giving him away 😕 , maybe don`t teach common sense at university :).

Don`t know if you use Connect Mike but I`ve recently ordered TLS9032 from them although I haven`t actually used it yet.
Normally use SERSIL 1 which always works fine but it`s rated at 230C and the new one is rated at 280C IIRC.

That`ll keep the local Dyson engineer busy , suppose people won`t be too bothered about waiting a few days or perhaps even a week or two 😯 for a vacuum repair.

Don`t know if this is of any use , but I had a similar fault on this model and rather embarrassingly it turned out to be a small sock in the sump hose filter causing slow drainage. Worth a close look because it fooled me for quite some time , you`d think it shouldn`t be able to get up enough speed with water still in it but this one did although the water came out the soap drawer.

    Re: 51-BS-08 Bosch Pump

    Now this is getting confusing.

51-BS-08 from SEME has a filter housing that you could fit (with screws ) almost any standard Askoll or Plaset pump , I just picked pmp8808 because I think I`ve seen genuine Bosch pump assemblies use a standard Hanning.

Is the “Artiko” pump you mention a bayonet fitting ❓

Can`t find Artiko on them Dave but I`m sure we`re speaking about the same pump.

As Bob suggested I`m going to fix something more reliable to the filter housing , am I right in thinking I`ve ordered some gen. Bosch pumps and received a standard Hanning ❓ . PMP8808 fits a treat 😀 they`re pretty reliable aren`t they :?:.

Smart move Bob , did you just have a gut feeling that the original pump wouldn`t be up to the job ❓

Washman , looks like the Italians are better than the Brazilians at making pumps and playing football .

Can`t find any manufacturer on them 😕 , I`ve been getting them from Seme.

“Q.C. Passed” label on them 🙄 ………..aye that`ll be right.

    Re: Indesit FM20KC Element

This oven doesn`t have a fan element but just uses top and bottom elements and a fan motor to circulate heat.

Before ordering any expensive element I`d check the bottom element as I`ve had a couple on this model where the terminals have shorted against the rear cover. There is hardly any clearance between the cover and the uninsulated terminals to the lower element 😯 .

From memory I simply bent the terminals a little and fitted insulated covers to the connectors 😉
