Hi Tell
One of two things will cause this fault.
Normally it`s a faulty thermistor but also check the damper motor is operating correctly.Bryan

Don`t know about you Mike but they don`t learn many of my tricks because I ask them to “leave me to get on with it” 😆 and I`ll give them a shout when the job is done.
On a serious note I rarely let a customer stand and watch over me and I`m always slightly vague , without being rude , if I think they`re looking for tips to do it themselves next time. Thanks for all the interesting replies.

Yeah good response from the FSB to an advert no doubt dreamed up by some university graduate with a degree in marketing on about £40k . Unbelievable that this was approved for a national advertising campaign , my 11 year old son could have done better .
Will we get to know the outcome of this complaint ❓ and are there likely to be any repercussions for Customs if complaint upheld. The person in charge has probably been promoted already.

If you have an account with Connect , type the model no. into global search , it only comes up with one part and it`s your lucky day 😀 . except for the price 🙁 .
Connect code is 5031684085392 and no doubt Dave will get the gen. number if required.

Could either of you please give me the gen. part no. for this element as I`m also looking for one and only reference I can find is Connect`s 5031683130116 @£57:82+vat 😯 . Gen part no. would perhaps give me some options on price and customer in no desperate hurry for a pleasant change 😀 .
Thanks

But it comes down to what someone told me from Candy one day, which is actually very true, they make clothes washers, not coin washers and it’s down to the customer to ensure that they use the appliance correctly and as instructed.
K.Someone posted a classic line a week or two back about customers using their washing machines as a piggy bank. :rotl:
