    I think it`s worth taking the extra 5 or 10 mins. to fit the correct plug and avoid any future confusion .

    As Dave must be having his tea 😆 the part no. is 481241318207 or 481241318201. Either of the two will do the job I think.

    Normal enamel paint would be a definite NO.
    Connect do a special paint , if you search for TU2.
    Unless it is a small area , this repair is a nightmare as it will soon start peeling again. 🙁
    Best just to rub down the loose paint and leave the metal work exposed.
    As long as metalwork intact then all will be ok. 😉

    Thanks for that Dave and as you say hopefully the Bosch guys may have a cost effective solution.

    Just had a listen and best I can say is “not for me” but interestingly my five year old son thought it was great so your mate could yet have a big future 🙂
