    WRONG MODEL, yours is the vented one, is the drum siezed?

    check the lever that holds the condensor in, the top right activates a microswitch, the machine wont work if the lever isnt up, have had one where the microswitch actuator was bent,

    Was there a load in it with detergent? too much detergent can cause it to try to do extra rinses, hense the filling, some Zannussis do put the dry motor on in the strangest of places in programmes, have you run a diagnostic?

    if it aint going into diagnostic, I would replace the pcb aswell, they do give problems

    dryer element will do the same, you need to go into diagnostics and find which code is stored,

    used to do these, havent seen one for almost a year so not sure, only info I have found is this-

    HAIER WASHING MACHINE ERROR CODES
    Error 1…….Door lock
    Error 2…….Drain.
    Error 3…….Temperature sensor.
    Error 4…….Heater.
    Error 5…….Fill problem.
    Error 6…….Motor speed.
    Error 7…….Motor fault
    Error 8…….water level too high

    not sure if its for this model,I thought I had a service manual for it but cant put my hand on it

    Not necessarily element, it shows this for any fault, I have a service manual but its only hard copy, common things are capacitor, element,
